Story time:

I bought this pen at the Costco and Costco sells them in large pack and I don't remember now how many the Costco pack had.

Later some years later, when I am down to probably 7th or 8th pen, that pen didn't write as smooth as the one that it replaced. I just replaced that with another one and moved on but later that day when I was just glancing at their package, it read "Pens have lifetime warranty". Claiming that warranty was just as easy as emailing the company, so I did, without any expectation of answer. Next day, Mr.J from Zebra reached out, apologized for the issue and asked where to ship new pen - never did ask for proof of purchase or how I even end with the issue. I gave what he wanted - my address and forgot about it. A week later I received a massive box from them - and it had Costco size pack of pens replacing just one pen that I had issue with. I-was-blown-away, to say the least.

And, folks - that's how I became lifetime buyer of their pens and of course of the Costco for having those pens from company that stands behind their words.

Nice, these pens write pretty well too and for whatever reason beyond these small packs other big box stores and probably like Staples has the large packs at a big discount in terms of $ per pen. The only thing that bugs me is they even make their own pens to have (slightly) incompatible refills, like the ink cartridge in these actually will work in the Z-Max fat pens but you just have to chop off a few millimeters at the end otherwise the clicker is extremely strained and hard to use. So if anyone like the Z-Grip Max you can just get a bunch of these and refill it into the Max' barrel instead of the official Max refills for less. (the plastic on the thread of the barrel on those is cheap though like all of them have like a little uneven chip/broken off part - but maybe it'll last for a while anyway)

That's half assorted ink and 9 mechanical pencils, though a good deal certainly.
