Beware your furbabies will eat the strings and take a chance of getting them stuck in their intestines

Don't ask me how I know this, but if you give this to your dog, more specifically the mammoth one to a German shepherd, you might have to put your proctologist skills to work. And no, gloves don't make it any better

2 things. You can be more slick by buying bulk cotton rope which is what I did....choose the thickness for your pup, and the length. And yes its true you may be pulling partially pooped strands from your dogs butt. We no longer give ropes to our dog because of this health risk...i.e. some comes out but more worried about what might get stuck in her intestines.

I'm no veterinarian, so I wonder how real this threat is. Their GI track evolved to pass fur etc. from their prey and many dogs chow grass resulting in similar Klingons, so doesn't logic suggest that this string eventually finds its way out safely?
