I had this air fryer for few days. I ended up returning it. The biggest issue I had was the buttons. Depending on the "mood" of the air fryer, the buttons were either too sensitive or would not respond at all. The way the buttons are designed (underneath the outer plastic layer) makes it very difficult to operate. The second issue I had with it was the required "preheat" option. There is no way to bypass it.

Looks interesting. I have the Bella Pro 8qt air fryer and like it, but this looks more versatile. More useful to have the air fryer shallower and wider, as you're not supposed to be stacking things on top of each other anyways if you want things crispy, so the added depth of a traditional air fryer isn't that useful. And the see-thru window with light makes it much easier to check on how things are cooking without having to pull out the basket and stop the cook to take a look. Also fits a 12" pizza. Only downside I see is the additional footprint on the counter.

Was looking at this to consolidate my old toaster oven and air fryer.. but from the Best Buy reviews it seems that pre-heat happens every time and takes about 3-5 mins?

I have this. Bought for $100. It's actually pretty great. Super large capacity that's usable rather than double level models. Goes up to 500F. And the preprogrammed options are meh but you can just use manual mode. It needs to preheat for a couple minutes but you should be doing that anyways with an air fryer.

any airfryer preheats.... its not like its on to keep warm. depending on how hot you set it to, will determine how long it needs to preheat. doesnt your oven need to preheat when you turn it on?

Replying to you after such a long time. So, preheating is not the issue. The issue is, it goes to preheat mode and then, it REQUIRES you to open and close it (acting like you put food in it after it preheated) before it continues with your cooking time. Otherwise, it will turn off after about 5 minutes. So, if you are not around, then, it shuts off and then you have to start over.
