Looks like a store was sitting on stock and couldn't sell it at the ridiculous overprice, so they are trying eBay. I would let them squeal and wait for the price to fall more.

Graph benchmark:
SLS 947
Surface Pro 9 INTEL CPU 1293
Surface Pro 11 ARM CPU 1696
Asus ROG Z13 INTEL + 4070 2610
Obviously, for general office and school work, Surface Pro 9 and this year's Surface Pro 10 with Intel CPUs would offer the best performance and compatibility for ultralight weight and size.
Give up full compatibility and SP11 might work if you only use Office, Teams, Edge and don't do much more than office work.
For gaming or sheer performance, Asus Z13 with a faster Nvidia, or even an Asus G14 if you don't need touch tablet mode MURDERS the obsolete SLS, lighter.
SP9 and SP10 can be connected to an external GPU for gaming at home (https://egpu.io).
But if you're into super portable gaming PCs, handhelds from OneXplayer, etc are the way.
....
Note: the ARM-BASED Surfaces (Surface Pro X. SP Pro 9 ARM, and Surface Pro 11 models ARE NOT 100% PC compatible!!!
Some apps, some printer drivers, some accessories WILL NEVER WORK on ARM-based CPUs. Absolutely DO NOT buy an ARM-based PC for gaming!!
Don't expect a miracle from Microsoft on this - they released the first Surface Pro X almost 5 years ago AND still have not achieved decent compatibility.
