OP's link is to the manufacturer's Amazon storefront. I purchased one here the last time it was on sale and everything was legit.
EDIT: Some Amazon shadiness it seems. You're right - it's a third party and the 8Bitdo storefront link was a surreptitiously placed "Sponsored" and link to the official store which happened to populate at the top of the page.

Op is right, this beats black Friday 8bitdo sale
Side question, how are the knock off 'Pro' controllers compared to the OEM or 8Bitdo (PC use again) assuming I don't care about actual Hall Effect, etc. I just want it to work, with gyro, for the limited amount of times I am forced to game on my laptop. BTW, not against non-Switch Pro style controllers but my understanding those are pretty much the gold standard for PC and gyro. Open to other suggestions.
