Can you stack it with the 5% first purchase coupon?

I tried but only 1 coupon can be used at a time. Still, that's the best price I've seen so far for extra DPU batteries. But I expect LFP batteries to continue lower as LFP is down to $53/kWh this year from $95/kWh in 2023. So even at $100/kWh for battery packs, at $2k that's a huge markup and profit margin for just a 6kWh LFP battery.

Kind of. I'm not going to defend any of these manufacturers' pricing, but there are R&D, manufacturing, shipping and support costs in there as well. I don't think you'll see prices that low unless you build the pack yourself from scratch in China itself, and not counting the BMS, inverter costs etc.

Your argument is reasonable for the inverter/charger head unit. Those absolutely have other costs to deal with, including development. But for this battery pack, which is literally just a bunch of cells and a BMS and some plastic, the high prices are much harder to justify. Especially as server rack and other batteries are now well below $0.25/Wh, not just raw cells

Still, this is a better price than previous EcoFlow markups on batteries, which i considered to be borderline extortionate in their costs. In time this pack needs to drop to $1200 or below to be viable as LfP prices drop in general.

Prices are higher in the absence of competition. 😔

To give an update on this for posterity, I was notified that they were out of stock and neglected to update their page. They asked me if it was okay if it would ship directly from EcoFlow and I said yes.

I looked up the CEO of the company and he has tons of YouTube videos promoting dropshipping, so I suspect this company is a glorified dropshipper. Which is okay I suppose, if you go in aware of this.

Funnily enough, I got the shipping notification before an order I placed directly from EcoFlow during Prime Day. So I need to harass them about that.
