Note that you need to buy 4 packages of each filter, not two packages of two. I believe that HDX is Home Depot's preferred air filter supplier comparable to the Filtrete filters stocked at Lowe's.

Ah, I wonder if the manufacturers and retailers were ramping up production and stock of the forest fire-smoke-filtering higher merv rated filters ahead of this seasons' fire season. You know, for people like me who put in a high merv furnace filter during times of Forest fire smoke, and switch the HVAC system fan to always on, to filter out the forest fire smoke particulates inside the house. Maybe this fire season wasn't as bad as they were expecting, and they ended up with a surplus of high merv filters.

Small correction: FPR 7, 9, 10, and 12. Which is MERV 8 and up. I saw this and was hoping the cheaper FPR 5 (MERV 8) was included, but it's not.

replaced my 1" filtrete with these. Good price but way cheesier and flimsy compared to the filtrete

These look exactly like my Honeywell filters purchased from an HD Deal a couple of years ago. That was a much better deal, but this isn't too bad. The Honeywell filters have been fine.
