I'm sold at $250. Maybe a refreshed model is on the way?

FYI if you're buying it for PC (with the new app/dongle) many features aren't supported like eye tracking

The game horizon the call of mountain is a digital game that its redemption code is on a card. You would be very lucky to get one that the game code hasn't been redeemed yet. So basically you would get one without the game.

Nope, they are killing 1st party support for it.

Physical production has already ceased and PC compatibility is a Hail Mary to sell off unsold stock.

Sony doing more to hurt the VR industry then to ever help it by even releasing this product. If you wanted to get cold feet so quickly, due to your terrible pricing strategy and lack of content, you should have never even bothered. When others see your failure, they think VR is the problem. In actuality, it's your ever declining company.

Sony VR 2 for PC is the gimmick to get customers buy a gimped version of VR. Don't buy it for the PC experience.

That's why just find the first headset psvr1 on EBay and buy the adapter for PS5 and enjoy it on your nice tv. Why waste money on this. Some serious gamers say not much difference and if that truly is the case makes no sense to spend this kind of money.

Sony shot themself in the foot with the outrageous price tag on psvr2. Thats why they aren't selling. Meanwhile people bought the meta so aren't interested in psvr2 like they would have been had they had started out with the price of this current deal

man I feel so bad for people buying these things for the first time as someone who bought one of these back in 2016, the first version I mean. The novelty will wear off and it will just sit there in the box and you will have to force yourself to try it out each and every time after the first time until it just sits in the box and you ask yourself, "why did I buy this?"

FYI the PSVR1 and 2 games aren't compatible with the different headsets. So if you wanted to play GT7 or Horizon on the PSVR1, you can't. If you have a PSVR2 and want to play a last gen game like Astrobot, you can't.

Another terrible call by Sony. They absolutely set VR back with their decision-making. And I'm sure their execs are blaming VR gaming as a whole. VR can be cool but no one is paying $500 for this.

Don't waste your money on these and instead buy Quest 2 or 3. At least those two will continue to be supported for years.

I've tried the PSVR 2, it is admittedly better than the PSVR but not $300 better. The PSVR has tons more games, looks great on the PS5 (with a $10 adapter) and can be grabbed on eBay for $70. Don't waste your money on a gimmick.
