20 years later I don't think you need to feel bad about playing a Chrono Trigger ROM instead of paying $6 for what is surely just also the ROM.

From Wikipedia [wikipedia.org], it sounds like they've fixed stuff, but it's definitely not a full remaster:

I just want to know how well it plays on the Deck compared to options in Emudeck. For $7, I have no problem buying such as classic again if it's improved.

Still possibly the greatest RPG of all time. I vote for the ROM as well, get the real super nintendo experience Smilie The modern version also uses (I believe) a different translation, more literal to the original japanese but also more awkward and less fun.

Unfortunately I went into this game with the expectations that it was the "greatest game of all time" and "greatest RPG of all time" and because of that I was extra critical while playing this and was rather disappointed. Dont go into this game expecting impossible levels of quality especially when it will have the trappings of being a game made in 1995. It's a very solid game mind you, just please don't read all the hype about it being the second coming of Christ
