My understanding is All soap washes away bacteria similarly. May be an argument about resistances with antibacterial soaps, but for how much is removed/killed from your skin, is honestly about the same whether it's antibacterial or regular soap. Soap in general is just that good against removing bacteria to begin with.
I agree in principle that added antibacterial elements in body type soaps is overkill, but again; the amounts 'removed' whether washed away and or killed, is similar irregardless of if this soap does or does not have antibacterial additives.
At the end of the day this soap is the only 'bar' soap I've tried that has a mild smell I don't mind and does not linger, and doesn't seem to bother my skin. 🙂

My dermatologist actually recommended this antibacterial soap after I started sweating more from side effects of a new medicine. Honestly helps a lot more with odor where other soaps didn't.

In for one! Thanks, OP

Wet to soften the thin bar and stick it to the new bar and press it on. Should be stuck to the new bar the next day.

Wish they had it on the white bars. The gold ones leave annoying stains

The white bars are the same price.

I recall Sam's price "was" lower even on sale on Amz but that was a while back.

I don't think it's wise to use anti-bacterial soap every day. Your skin has a lot of beneficial bacteria. Maybe once in a while as needed if you are worried about contact with bad bacteria.

Responding to the comment above,
Because I don't like the ivory one and nothing bad in the gold bar soap. There isn't anything weird in the soap or chemicals in the soap that appear to absorb through the skin or are a problem. Pretty common stuff actually if you look through the ingredients. You are free to use what you like, but I think you are off base here.

Thanks! Last year I paid $33 for 22 - 4oz bars. So this is a great deal. I can only use dial bc of my skin. Way better deal.

Oh does anyone know how to reuse the bars when they split in two? That's my only gripe about these bars.

I put super thin ones in a cup, and I reuse the super thin ones for a few different uses:

-Clean stains out of shirts (surprisingly works well with soap bars & dish soap!)
-Clean my hands after I finished mechanic work in the garage. (Again, SURPRISINGLY well to get the dirt great and grime out of your hands)
-Hand soap bar on the sinks(it's easier to wash your hands with a thin bar than to wash your body with that same bar).
-Once I even stuck a chunk on the bristle end of a brush (the $1 bathroom brushes) and went to town on scrubbing. It soaped up the carpet area AND scrubbed it at the same time! I just ran over with the carpet vac after.

All in all, tons of ways to reuse soap bars.

As dumb as it sounds Amazon used to charge higher prices for Dial soap because they never stocked the brand directly. I guess the owner of Dial finally gave into Amazon machine in pricing.
