At $63, it's the best knife for the money you will ever buy, period. Have this exact one, and my fav over my benchmades, Spyderco's, etc

Kizer knives are generally great. I do not have this one. I do own the similar sized Original with button lock. I know this is a bit small for my hands otherwise I would buy it in a second. I do not think I have a Kizer clutch lock.

Anyone looking for a similarly sized button lock can search for the Kizer Original on Amazon. Similar size and same steel. I have the red Richlite handle, which is very nice and it is $72. Other handles are $84. Richlite does not feel quite as nice as Micarta but is a close second. The color though on this one is definitely much richer than anything I own with Micarta.

This is larger than the Original. I'm 6'2", XL hands and it's perfect for a small EDC for me. I owned 2x originals (smaller than I like other than if wanting a 2oz small carry that day), and the clutch lock is so much stronger and better than a button lock IMO. Kizer has had some versions of the Original on sale for under $40 regularly with their Flash Sales they're doing right now. They don't make it to Slickdeals but they post a schedule of when they're doing the flash sales, be sure to check their website and those days and you can get stuff regularly 60% off right now. The entire knife industry is kind of struggling so lots of sales here. I get my Originals for $32 (Richlite) to $38 (serape G10). Honestly I HIGHLY recommend getting the Original XL over the Original if you don't want a tiny knife. Got a carbon Fiber black/black XL for $32 on a Flash Sale, it's great.

They also have the more budget material versions of the drop bear regularly for $70 bucks or something with Nitro-V steel.

Thanks for the info. I do see it is about a third of an inch bigger overall now. Likely still too small for me though. I actually do have an Original XL already. My fave as far as fitting my hand is the Spyderco Resilience. It just feels right. I picked up a Military 2 and was bummed that, although nice, still does not quite feel as good as the Resilience in hand. I know, they are big knives.

Kizer had some great deals leading up to and after Father's Day. I spent nearly $500 for nine knives from them. Went a little crazy there. Especially since Amz had 50% off a bunch of Kizers earlier and I bought a few then. I must be stopped! lol
