Man, so tempting to upgrade. My current K70 is 10 years old and running just like new.

save your money, its not really an upgrade... just a refresh... Even the K95 isn't an upgrade unless you go optical/need the macro keys

I can't speak for the keyboard itself but I have a K60 with Cherry MX Reds and they're somewhat sharp and hollow when bottomed out. I put the dampening o-rings on my K60 and it somewhat helped. I then got a Keychron C3 with pre-lubed Reds and sound dampening foam inside the board housing and it was a world of a difference. Lube helps a lot, board construction helps, and key caps also help.

I have this keyboard. It works great for me. It's mechanical, so it's not silent. There are definitely louder keyboards out there but make no mistake, this sounds like a mechanical keyboard. I love the feel of the keys and yeah, I'd only upgrade to replace it due to damage or because I want macros. ICUE is not my favorite. It's the main reason I don't have other Corsair devices, but for a keyboard without macros, when it fails it's usually just the lights and occasionally the volume gets messed up.
