The actual fact remains that it is always better to eat actual foods that contain omega-3's than taking these supplements. That actually goes for all supplements.
Also, unless a doctor specifically states for an individual to take these, mostly for cholesterol or other reasons, they are not necessary.
And that's the point of that article, regardless if you are laughing at it or not.
