The cheapest this 4070 / 32gb model has been until today was $1,749.99…

The 4060 / 16gb model was $1099.00 like two weeks ago….

Recommend to checkout in person if sensitive to PWM. I am, and I spent a good 10 minutes with it on the floor at BBY and got insane headaches.

I tested by pulling up YouTube and searched for 4k hdr videos, and just browsed randomly at a normal distance.

Also contrary to reviews saying the speakers and build quality are MacBook Pro 14-level, nah. Closer than most windows laptops but very noticeably not quite there.

This year's 4060/16gb model has soldered ram so it's up to you if it's worth it.

I consider 16gb of RAM a bottleneck so I went with last year's model and upgraded the RAM to 32gb especially since the processors are essentially the same.

Their sales usually last a week, so it should be available until Sunday (unless stock runs out somehow).

Love the formfactor and the specs, but sheesh the price is steep. Similarly spec-ed 16" laptops seem to be half the price.
