This is a good deal.

The cheapest this 4070 / 32gb model has been until today was $1,749.99…

The 4060 / 16gb model was $1099.00 like two weeks ago….

This is a great deal, that's why I'm shocked they didn't drop the 4060 price with it.

Is asus quality reliable now?
Sadly not for me, I got the 2023 g14 after seeing it here and just a few months later it started blue screening. Sent to asus and all they did was reformat which did not fix issue. I used it extremely lightly aka just on trips and care for my electronics. Would not recommend, there's a reason these always go on sale.

Did you try clean installing W11?

But the Lenovo doesn't have gsync. The g14 is the first oled in a laptop with gsync. And yes it's worth it.

Anyone have any experience between this and the14 in MacBook Pro m3 max 36gb ram for Machine Learning? I only game here and there. I know a custom build PC is better but I am always on the go and I'm paranoid about leaving the computer on to SSH into while I'm gone.

Watch out for Asus. Their US-based service department is notoriously awful.

I bought a similar model that failed only 2 months after warranty. I was getting repeated BSODs.. Nothing I did (attempted driver rollback, reinstall, alternative OS boot) fixed it, and when I sent it in, Asus determined it was a defective motherboard. They wouldn't budge on repair costs or responsibility and billed me for an additional $900 to fix it.

I'll never buy Asus again.

This type of exp makes me not want to upgrade. I have an ASUS ROG from 2013/ To this day I have not had a single issue with it. I never got a warranty on it either. Works just as fast as it did day 1

In this case, they are both priced about the same.
The specs are slightly different but the 4070 G14 and 4070 G16 are both $2,000 MSRP.
Typically it costs more to miniaturize everything to squeeze the same amount of specs into a smaller form factor.
Negative. It's just the screen size smaller and a few more efficient less components.

They discontinued the 32GB version of the Lenovo Legion Slim 5 a few months ago.

I own this exact laptop and it's excellent. While the 4070 is a little less powerful than larger 4070 machines the overall form factor, build quality and display more than make up for it.

Also the speakers on this almost rival the MacBook Pro, they're excellent

I have this model right now and the 14" screen is too small for gaming in my opinion. I might just return it and wait for a deal on the 16" variant.

I highly doubt it but maybe if you're worried don't redeem them until you're sure or once you're past the return window.
