This is not super elaborate or a highly technical Lego build. There are a ton of small pieces and nothing technically impressive. But visually, the final piece looks great and it feels like a true work of art, plus it's sturdy and does hang from the wall, so it can be displayed as one.

I'd say the build itself is below average, but factors like the audio track and end satisfaction bring the build experience up to a 7/10-8/10 (depending on how interested you are in the history). The end result though, is a 10/10, and that seems like the main focus here. If you're on the fence about this one, I'd say it's cerainly worth it, especially if you're mostly concerned with the final result. This is probably the most satisfying sub-$100 Lego set I've ever done.

Don't forget additional 5% off (~$4) with Target Red card or Amazon Prime Store Card / CC.

I really want this set and its hit this price point a few times. I'm holding out for $75 or lower. Thanks!

The building is super boring. Like super. But the final result is nice. I do think there was a missing opportunity of bringing the wood print in a more 3d approach forcing some perspective with more layered construction. But is nice and a cheap frame is $50 those days...

I love this set! The build was okay. I split it up over multiple days so it wasn't boring to me. The end result is beautiful. Mine is hanging up. Would totally consider getting another different Lego art set.

Geez, if people think this is a boring build, I'd like to direct you to Captain America's shield.

I had remodeled my room with colors based off of this art, as it is one of my favorites, and planned to buy a small canvas art piece of this to hang up - but my sister surprised me with this for my birthday and, looking at it every single day on my wall, it is absolutely stunning as a small centerpiece of my room, and you can't tell that it's Lego from a distance.

Yes, the building is repetitive, but I treat it more as a therapeutical sort of thing - podcast/music on while I build this. Fantastic set, EVEN at full price, so no brainer at $85 if you are a fan of this art piece.

Took the words out of mouth. The audio track was super interesting to listen to while building, and putting the final "picture" into the "frame" was super satisfying

I just finished this build this week after purchasing for same price back in February.

I agree that this is a pretty boring, non-technical build and its a lot of tedium and doing the same mirrored movements or just placing lots of dots.

My previous builds of the bonsai tee and Van Gogh Starry Night were much more challenging and varied.

Still, the final product looks really nice and and pdinc said above, sliding the picture in the frame and locking it into place was cool.

I wish I knew about the audio track first as I woulda listened while building.

I think it was 15 numbered bags (even more because multiple bags per number sometimes) and I would just do a bag here and there over a month so it was a nice stress free activity while listening to music or podcast.

For several hours of entertainment and some cool art I give this a thumbs up.

Bummed. We built it today but were missing Bag 2. We actually had two bag 5s… Now gotta wait for replacement. Luckily that section isn't touched on too much for rest of build so we still continued. It is very cool and the locking in of the frame is hugely satisfying.
