Smart. 6 is the best. 1-3 in this year is only worthwhile for fans of the series. 5 has a great battle system and very thin plot, 4 has great story and music but less gameplay depth than later games.

That is quite a bit less. I'm just hoping for the day when these are on a humble bundle... although I don't recall ever seeing a final fantasy game on a humble bundle.

For Switch and PS4/PS5, it's reasonable.

The problem is some folks want physical, and SQEX screwed the pooch with making the PS4 physical release time-limited and selling out in the span of a couple of hours. Asia had a chance of getting them, but SQEX cancelled it (yet not the Switch physical).

For $10/title, it is up to someone to decide if they want to spend that to play retro JRPGs on modern consoles.

However, this collection's only been out there for over a year now, so SQEX has a chance on changing their minds and wanting money to reprint.

Every review I've read says the PC version of Chrono Trigger sucks and the FF6 remaster is inferior to the GBA version. But it is tempting. I've only bought three versions of FFVI so far (SNES, original PlayStation, and GBA).

Quite good quite different. The NES games look almost like SNES games and the SNES games all look like very late generation SNES games but with highly detailed battle backgrounds. Bunch of glitches have been fixed.
