If you use an online guide and cut out the aimless wandering and grinding then I'd say each game takes about 20 hours. Back in the day without a guide more like 30.

Was about to buy all of them "just to have them in the collection", then I sat and thought.... There's no way I'm ever beating all of these, let alone even trying them lol so I purchased VI from GMG which is often considered the best in the entire franchise.

Smart. 6 is the best. 1-3 in this year is only worthwhile for fans of the series. 5 has a great battle system and very thin plot, 4 has great story and music but less gameplay depth than later games.

Since this is the best discounted price for the digital version, I'm going to splurge the extra $30 for the physical imported version, which will retain its value, and of which Square Enix gets exactly $0 more in profit for.

I've been playing this on PS4 and I highly recommend it. Here's how long its taken for each game:
FF1: 10 hours
FF2: 11.5 hours
FF3: 15 hours
FF4: 14 hours
FF5: 27 hours

Haven't finished FF6 yet

These games are much faster than the original because of the QoL improvements they've made.

These updated 2D graphics are nice, but I wish they'd do an HD 2D remake of at least FF IV and VI.

For anyone who has been a Humble Choice member for awhile, if you max out the discount you have available, it's $50.99 to purchase this set on Humble Bundle for the Steam keys.

Squenix has been holding back on discounting these for awhile. They should hit 50% off at some point but it may be awhile yet.

Every review I've read says the PC version of Chrono Trigger sucks and the FF6 remaster is inferior to the GBA version. But it is tempting. I've only bought three versions of FFVI so far (SNES, original PlayStation, and GBA).
This has been my issue. I adore FFV and VI, but I'm used to the lightly expanded GBA versions. The Pixel versions just don't feel definitive.
