If you just add the tool, you can select a battery for a free gift, and then tool is $26.99 when you return battery. I'm sure 90% people buying this have enough Ryobi batteries. also you can no longer do pick up at different stores for bundled items.

Simply select "tool only" and "no additional attachments" then you'll see the "free gift" offer where the two items show up as itemized. The battery shows up as "ship to store" for me so I could simply not pick it up and they'll eventually restock it and refund or text in and ask to cancel it

How does this compare to an oscillating multi tool?

I've had to cut some holes into drywall for a new receptable and used my multi tool. It was fine, but clunky. Most electricians on youtube seem to use a hand saw for better precision. This tool does a great job at that, but is probably a nice to have - but for under $30 i consider it a good addition to the collection

I have this tool. It cuts good but sometimes it's hard to see the line to cut straight.

This. Roughing out openings in panel goods. Openings for light switches, AC outlets, etc. Much faster than drilling a pilot hole and then cutting with a jigsaw, or even using an oscillating tool.

Accuracy with this tool comes with practice.

In this economy, everyone will return the battery, even if they need it. 🤣
