I've been using Shokz for about a decade, including these. While I enjoy the OpenRun, I dislike the proprietary charger. It ostensibly improves water resistance, but I've never had an issue with older models. For the price I wish they'd include (or at least offer separately) a charging case. At least you can buy USB-C adapters cheaply online.

Other than that, not the best sound quality compared to other types of headphones, but that's not the point. These are incredible for situations where you want to be aware of your surroundings, whether it's exercising or at work. When needed you can use these with ear plugs (still included I think?) which also improves sound quality some. Very comfortable for me (I forget I'm wearing them) and work fine with glasses. The one issue is the back sticks out a way, so it can be an issue using them laying down, or sitting in some chairs. At high volume they cause skull vibrations I find a bit unpleasant for me, but again I buy them so I'm aware of my surroundings and keep them pretty low.
It's why I recommend the minis. They fit me plenty fine with about a finger worth of gap between the back of my head and the band. Haven't found someone yet in my family that needed the normal sized ones. The minis seem to fit most people.

FWIW - I bought a set on Prime Day and wore for a few minutes at a normal volute. My ears still ring. This isn't common and most people love them, but that wasn't my experience.
Probably drinking too many gin & tonix my man

Couldn't agree more... All excellent points to consider

It depends... Although I wasn't physically swimming with mine on this past weekend, I was in the pool and splashing around and they were fine. They are sealed (hence the issue with the charger as someone else mentioned).

These are pretty good on sale, i have the pros. Had em for a year or so i think? Battery is great. Sound quality is okay, but with the way these work, they can only do so well. I use them at work in a industrial production environment. if you work on a night shift where it's a bit quieter (if you use them for work) you'll have no problem hearing these and sometimes are too loud. But 80+ decibel environment good luck they will be quiet.

Great deal. Fwiw I have a normal-large head and use the "mini" size. You may want to head to a store and compare in person first.

Same price Instore. I bought the pro version about 4 months ago from bestbuy for $99. Battery life is decent compared to lower models. It fits well outside my year but somehow find the volume to be too low. And when there is a little wind or traffic around people on other end of line can hear a lot of it with disturbance. Even though I thought mine was noise cancellation.
Same experience. Pros are not worth it cause of reduced volume, even at the same price.

What's the difference between the Openrun and Openrun SE? Couldn't really find anything online about it

I just got the Pro version from Best Buy for $99. The sound is probably worse than I was expecting. I hear the mids and highs ok but there is zero bass. It's like you have a soundbar and subwoofer with all the bass directed to the subwoofer and then someone unplugs the sub. However, the awareness of sounds around you is excellent. I had the volume up but was still able to hear my wife typing 15 feet away. Since I only use these to run, I will keep them.

Whatever issue you have is not connected in any way to this item. Clearly you need to get that checked out. The sound on htese does not go loud either.

Yeah, I haven't tried those yet. I have a pretty massive noggin, so I'd have to be able to test them before buying and I don't know any place that has them out. It's rarely an issue for me, and I bought them for running where it's never an issue, but I'm just throwing it out there as a consideration for people that haven't used them before.
My local Sam's had both the regular size and mini out to try on. I'm not sure if all do, but for those in the area, that was Duluth, GA. The audio player display (to test the sound) didn't work, but I'm not surprised about that. I also went with the mini and feel it could still be slightly smaller, but they still work great.

Based on Costco's description, this is an all-black model compared to the regular black one which is two-toned with gray.

I have them and really like them for cycling. I do have to tip them back a little bit to clear my helmet comfortably, but it doesn't seem to affect the sound quality (already mediocre at best due to the nature of bone conduction).

I use an old pair of Jabra 75T Elite Active for running and at the gym though.

I'll check, but I'm pretty sure they're in a case at our local Sam's Club. Thanks for the heads up.

I had one and the band broke recently. Anyone experiences with this and knows if they would replace in this situation?
