I've been using Shokz for about a decade, including these. While I enjoy the OpenRun, I dislike the proprietary charger. It ostensibly improves water resistance, but I've never had an issue with older models. For the price I wish they'd include (or at least offer separately) a charging case. At least you can buy USB-C adapters cheaply online.

Other than that, not the best sound quality compared to other types of headphones, but that's not the point. These are incredible for situations where you want to be aware of your surroundings, whether it's exercising or at work. When needed you can use these with ear plugs (still included I think?) which also improves sound quality some. Very comfortable for me (I forget I'm wearing them) and work fine with glasses. The one issue is the back sticks out a way, so it can be an issue using them laying down, or sitting in some chairs. At high volume they cause skull vibrations I find a bit unpleasant for me, but again I buy them so I'm aware of my surroundings and keep them pretty low.
It's why I recommend the minis. They fit me plenty fine with about a finger worth of gap between the back of my head and the band. Haven't found someone yet in my family that needed the normal sized ones. The minis seem to fit most people.

FWIW - I bought a set on Prime Day and wore for a few minutes at a normal volute. My ears still ring. This isn't common and most people love them, but that wasn't my experience.

Same price Instore. I bought the pro version about 4 months ago from bestbuy for $99. Battery life is decent compared to lower models. It fits well outside my year but somehow find the volume to be too low. And when there is a little wind or traffic around people on other end of line can hear a lot of it with disturbance. Even though I thought mine was noise cancellation.

I just got these in the mini size and don't have a tiny head and these are still a bit big.

I bought the Pro version about a week ago and the sound is better compared to the regular.

I agree the Mini is better suited for most people as the regular one is pretty big at the back. Hard to put your head back on a rest or bench during workouts.

Yeah, I haven't tried those yet. I have a pretty massive noggin, so I'd have to be able to test them before buying and I don't know any place that has them out. It's rarely an issue for me, and I bought them for running where it's never an issue, but I'm just throwing it out there as a consideration for people that haven't used them before.

Same price in store, at least at my club. Sam's is usually pretty good about showing store price on the website if you've selected your store, and (unlike Costco) there's rarely a difference except on clearance stuff. And I'm pretty sure you can still order online for in store pickup if you want, it's just curbside there's a charge for. I'm not sure though, as I've been a plus member for years. The 2% cash back alone always more than pays for the upgrade for me.

I tried the mini pro version and returned them due to the poor sound quality. I knew it wasn't going to be great, but man a $5 pair of buds from Temu would be better sound quality than these. I get it, it's for those who need spatial awareness. I am used to wearing a single bud so I can hear my surroundings and would rather do that with pass through enabled than these. To each their own, just know what you're getting into.

This are great for running (hence the openrun name). The sound quality is nothing to write home about but they stay in their place while you run and you are able to be aware of you surroundings

My only issue was when I ran a race the entertainment was so loud that I couldn't hear my heatset at all until I was far enough from the starting line

No. You want the OpenSwim for that. The old ones were an MP3 player only (Bluetooth doesn't work underwater), but the new model (OpenSwim Pro I think?) allows you to switch back and forth and may work well for running too. I haven't tried any of the OpenSwim models though.
