Desktops have all been great because they are generally not handled. Laptop experiences have been a total gamble depending on who owned them (company, department, individual). We've had failures - some on-arrival, some several months later.
The Latitude 5410 and 5411 have been the WORST deliverables. These GRADE-A purchases turned out to be GRADE-B in appearance (and that's being kind). There are issues with the 5410 and 5411 (search Dell communities, Dell support, Reddit, etc.).
The 5411 should have been recalled. Mass shipments were returned to Dell from I.T. departments because of the faulty design - they stuck a hot-running chip in a previous bad venting design. Dell's "solution" to the overheating is to dramatically scale down the processor's speed, so you're not going to get anywhere near the processor speed that you think you're going to be getting.
Run from the 5410/5411 but some have had exceptions, especially from the FedEx Recycling "promoters".

My 7xxx series that I bought had pretty much aligned to the A cosmetic grade though.

It was a Grade A, and I agree .. barely a scratch. I was surprised at the decent battery life, I figured it would be an old battery. With normal usage, I get ~4 hours.
I know the first post in this thread is trashing these models .. I've been completely happy with my $200 purchase enough to buy another one for my family.
These should be compared to anything with a similar price tag. Especially other refurbs available on ebay et al. As far as new goes, 7520U laptops still appear on SD at $270 and up.
Recent Macbooks (through my own direct experience - via base M1 Pro and more recent 64GB M1 Max) use a comparably small amount of power but still manage to pack a solid & often 'winning' punch. They sip power when idle and don't have to thermal throttle like their Intel counterparts. Fit/finish is excellent too.
The new M1 Pro+ models haven't had any super stinkers as far as flaws go.
Intel's got chips burning themselves out due to a design flaw that can case 'irreversible damage' [tomshardware.com] (13/14th gen, which came after the Latitudes in this deal).
I've been on the lookout for a Latitude with ethernet, ideally the 7000 series with a ~14" display, but this ain't it... still on the lookout.

Screen was awful, could barely see anything, battery did not last, it was super slow and on top of it it weights like a pile of bricks.
