Is this when Amazon matches Barnes & Noble's Criterion sale?

Yep. It started just before July did, I think.

I wish there were some other Criterion releases there, like Brazil and Hard Boiled

Woah there's a ton of movies on sale! It's very annoying on the Amazon app wading through all the "sponsored" listings that just appear like they're a part of the search criteria.

Tempted to pick up a couple Wes Andersons… I just wish the going rate for Blu-Rays (even though they're criterion) wasn't $20.

Hah! I bought Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas 4k from Barnes and Noble during their sale for $25 but still can't see the bats... 👀😂 Grabbed The Princess Bride 4k for $25 while I was at it to get the free shipping.

I'm so reticent to buy anything not 4K now, as you never know what they'll reissue

Just to confirm, these are regular Blu-Rays and are not 4K UHD?
Edit:
As per criterion

Q. What is the difference between watching a 4K restoration on a standard Blu-ray vs. a 4K disc?

A. While a film may have been restored at 4K resolution, it must be downscaled to standard HD resolution for presentation on a standard Blu-ray, whereas the restoration is presented at the greater UHD resolution on a 4K disc.

it could have been reticent if they hadn't revealed their reluctance.
