Pixel 9 is like two weeks away. Which has a new modem which should address any bad connectivity issues that anyone from the Pixel 6+ series have suffered from. It uses the same modem as the S24.
But Google's lackluster ability to get their shit figured out with the likes of running hot, and being just behind the curve with performance (now especially with a price very similar to Galaxy, I expect more..) I'm now going back to Galaxy

The OS support from Google is what keeps me with them and not having to deal with the bloat from Samsung too

It's nice to have instant updates, that's for sure, but I've had connectivity issues with my pixel 6a. Having to restart your phone every few days or so just to get connection shouldn't be an issue even if the phone is beyond software updates. Who knows what's next in next gen Pixels..

Also, what Samsung bloat do you mean? Their versions of calculator, photos and such? if you get factory unlocked there won't be any carrier bloat like at&t or T-Mobile shit

Maybe it is your phone that is the issue. My wife has a 6A and hasn't had problems. I use a 7 with no problems too. We're both planning on upgrading to the 9 when it comes out.
I've had nothing but pretty good luck with my pixel 8 pro ignoring when i dropped it and damaged the screen a little.
I'd love to get the Samsung S24 Plus/pro/superduper whatever its called for that delicious camera, but they are unreasonably expensive at the moment. I look forward to seeing how this or the 9 will be priced in the coming weeks.
In either case we need to upgrade my wife's Pixel 3 XL right about 2 years ago....
I absolutely don't understand this ridiculous 128 gb for the "Pro Plus" models. My advice is to buy Oneplus 12r or Moto Edge Plus 2023.
Both are superior phones with plenty of storage for a bit less money

You can snag an S24+ on eBay for 600 if you're patient and lurking

My God, the trauma of having to restart your phone every couple days. Don't be adult after today's pixel 9. Roll out this eight pro. Looks like a champ compared to the nine pro XL which happens to be the same size and only double the price. Good Lord, you get 17% more performance out of the tensor G4 and you're looking sideways a pap for 559. You're out of your freaking mind....

Definitely will drop significantly in a few more months with new release.
