Marriott requires some activity every 24 months. Your 220k would transfer over at 1.7 factor which isn't bad. I have used this transfer method to stay active with Marriot. Hyatt is the better place to transfer points. I'm not sure on your workaround, but 220k of Hyatt points could earn you 40 nights in a low demand Hyatt Place, and as few as 10 nights at a Fairfield. So much better to use with Hyatt. FYI, A majority of my Hyatt free night redemptions have been between 5k and 10k of points for each free night at Hyatt Place. Even Hawaiian Hyatt resorts give you 2X value on your points vs straight cash redemptions from what I have seen.
No activity required if you have lifetime status like i have titanium.

Unless you need some Marriott points this is not a good deal. Chase Ultimate Rewards is basically cash
It is worth so much more than cash if used in the correct manner.

Just google best CUR redemptions. There will be several articles.

I use them regularly for Southwest flights and Hyatt stays. Last year went to Kauai with airfare and hotel free. Then spent a week in Florida a couple months ago for free.

Hyatt has some good family resorts in Florida, we also enjoy the Hyatt Regency's in SoCal.

Hyatt also took over a lot of all-inclusive properties in the Caribbean that can be booked.

I would like to help, but you need to do some of your own research. There are a lot of websites that specialize in helping users capitalize on their points and rewards. My comments on Hyatt are easily verified as well as the other posts who have transferred rewards for airline mile redemptions. Dans Deals dot com and Doctor of credit dot com would be great places to start.

Simple steps.

Use a combination of Chase cards. Chase Freedom Flex, Freedom Unlimited and a Sapphire option. Build up points with the best one on any given purchase. Transfer these reward points to a Sapphire card. Then use the Sapphire card to transfer points to partners like Southwest, United, HYATT, IHG, bonvoy, etc. It is pretty easy if you study the process. Any Chase card can be added to the trifecta above. Business cards included. Always start with some kind of sign up bonus on the card to get off to a fast start. My last Sapphire gave me 100000 rewards just for meeting sign up requirements. Right now the Business equivalent of my Sapphire is giving 120000 points if you can meet the requirements. I hope this helps. I'm out.

Hmm. I have at least an OG Freedom, Freedom Unlimited, and a Sapphire Pref among others. Would those 3 work?

Perfectly. Generate points on whichever one is most lucrative on any given purchase. Move those points to the Sapphire when you are ready to convert to a partner like Hyatt. I always wait until I'm ready for a transfer to partner before pulling them from the Freedoms, because they are staying wherever you move them, including the partner. FYI, Freedom Flex is better than OG Freedom due to the 3% food and drug stores, however, you can get that from the unlimited and you may like Visa better than MC. This all legit and not fluffed. I'm just sharing ways to capitalize significantly on points. You just have to manage it. Hyatt is the best place to use points 90% of the time. I don't like Hyatt as much as Marriott and Hilton, but I have learned to use them often due to this program.
