Fantastic if you have a pool and need to winterize or get the pool ready in spring, any need to drain water this makes life quite simple
I have the M12 stick version and love it. Especially for the pool cover

Been waiting for this for months now. Thank you!

These are great for draining hot water heaters when they go bad. I used to have to let gravity drain as much of it as possible and then use an air compressor to push out all the water, but that would still take a long time. This thing will drain a hot water heater real fast. Great for property maintenance people.

Not in my area, They quit about a year ago. The policy is that you have to return all or none if it was part of a promotion.

Questions is do all home depot take battery back in store?
My usuals are still not giving me an issue about the hack returns. I just returned a 2 battery/charger gift from a nail gun combo, all the guy asked was why i was returning it and if i used it. Then he just broke the tape on the box, saw it hadnt been disturbed, and issued me the refund.

That's odd. I just placed the order for pickup on 2 different locations. I usually just don't pick up the item that I'm intending on returning. I then just get a call in a week or so from the HD store and they just cancel it over the phone and refund that order.

I have a 1/3hp utility pump corded.

I use it to drain my fish pond or if crawlspace gets flooded by rising river water etc...

I would lower the pump with the cord and hose to the lowest point and it drains down to 1/4" of water.

With this I assume you can't put it at the lowest point since this is not submersible right?

So you need to put this on a raised on platform and drop down a hose? Does it come with a weighted suction inlet to attach to hose and how much water will left depth wise when it's done?

Does it auto cut off when finished?

Is there a corded option if I have 7" of water in the crawlspace and wants to run it unattended for 18 hours?

I have NEVER had a problem picking order up at store and returning batteries or whatever was on the invoice. I have gotten some screaming deals with their BOGO deals.

What's the reason?
For smaller tasks the M12 is easy to bust out and not have to connect garden hose. According to specs, M12 can handle larger debris than can the M18 version... less clogging chances...

I don't understand, why not just use the drain on the water heater? What am I missing? 🤔

Well it's used to transfer water. Maybe your basement flooded and you need to get the water out.
The M12 stick transfer pump (or the M18 version that will come out in 5 months) would work better in these situations.

Draining hot water heater on the other hand can't be done by the stick transfer pump so this would be a better tool.
