I have these bad boys, but only one from amazon. Note that you need micro SD card to keep a local copy and pull recordings. Also these are motion detection recording. It only records when motion is detected.

So if you only need motion recording, these work very well.

The only problem with these is Tapo removed (RTSP) real time streaming from them a while ago via a firmware update saying these are battery cams. Despite numerous requests they haven't added it back even though it should be able to easily support it when connected to solar panels.
If you don't want RTSP/NVR then these are a perfect choice

Where do you see that it is C425 cameras? I have 4 x C425s from Amazon and my cameras are magnetic and solar panels are on separate mounts. Also, Amazon shows 2 different models - 1st is $79 and 2nd is $49, that set looks to me similar to $49 model. I ordered 2 sets without looking at details but if it is older models I will probably return it. TY!

You're correct, I made a mistake. These are not the C425 magnetic mount cameras. Post updated. My apologies.

Yeah too bad I have way too many cameras or would love to get these. I have Ring stick up cams (I have Ring subscription) with solar panels and then I have the Blink ones (videos saved on Sync Module) that are battery operated but no way to get them solar hooked up. I have Wyze also. Don't want to be loading a top of apps lol 😂

The Tapo TP-Link 2K QHD C120 really impressed me with their low-light vision (non-IR). So much better then the wyze cam v3 and eufy Security Indoor Cam C120. Wonder if these are comparable to the Tapo C120?

You need to look for Tapo cameras with "Starlight Sensor", I agree C120 has pretty good low-light vision, only gripe is even their 2K cameras look very pixelated, but it is very affordable from a reputable brand.

Are there other cameras of similar price which have real time video viewing option?

That's talking about the TC85, not the TC82. This deal is for TC82. I wish they didn't make so many different models, or at least had a better naming convention.

So these don't have the starlight sensor?

I don't know about this model, my suggestion to the other poster was to look for Tapo cameras with "Starlight Sensor"

So far the set works great for me. Didn't have to charge them up because the solar charges them up fast enough. Went from 20% to 100% charge by day 2. I'd recommend boosting al the sensitivities to maximum. The cams don't have to be on the same wifi at home. You can add microsd cards to avoid a cloud subscription, this is what I got, 5 for $17.99 64GB is plenty
