  3. Proceed to checkout and select your American Express Card as your payment method
  4. Select the amount of American Express Reward Dollars you would like to use for the purchase (must use at least 0.01 point)

I finally got around to using the 40% offer on Wednesday, right before it expired. Nice to have another one, even if it's not as good. I was really surprised that the old offer was still around. I thought sure it would have been used up on Prime Day.

You get 30% off the item(s) cost as long as a portion is paid w/ Amex reward dollars. 0.01 points/dollars is the minimum to trigger the discount.
