25+ years ago, Hunter fans used to be some of the better ones you could get. These are trash and not even DC motors. It's sad that no one makes a solid DC fan with good HA integration and without a terrible bolted-on downlight.
Did not have good experience with these fans. Bought two, returned one after a year. The one returned, had to have remote replaced and then started making terrible noise. One that I still have produces very low airflow.
I bought the Rapidan fan last time for $99 unfortunately. It has a low hum anytime the fan is running. Drives me crazy! You can even hear it on high speed. I would definitely Pass on this one!

There are new generation fans at HD & Lowe's with DC motor, quiet, flush mount and with fancy decorative LED lights ranging between $100~$200. They do not have large blades but good enough for medium size rooms.

I have two of these. They are the easiest to install. Fan controller is built in. LED light is one assembly that you plug in. Fan blades press into the their posts with ease and simplicity. On high mode this moves a lot of air but produces a lot of wind noise. On the lowest setting it's very quiet. You might be able to hear a slightly audible hum but it didn't bother me. BTW, I've never came across a completely silent fan, and I've installed plenty.

Almost got one a while back because they have the DC motor "look" which I found out is more common recently.
Hunters used to be quiet, but I guess times have changed..
