Just more work to remove sockets than a hog ring

If your sockets have a hole or notch that lines up with the pin, it really holds tight and often requires a tool to remove it. It's a necessary feature if working at height where a dropped socket could kill someone. Also handy if your project rarely requires changing sockets and you don't want to risk accidental release. Depending on the socket design, it could be rotated so the pin doesn't engage, but the hog ring style is usually preferred by those that don't require absolutely secure socket retention.

would someone be kind enough to explain the proper way to "hack" ?

are we supposed to return with receipt or without?
during my last attempt, they scanned my return item and said it is not eligible for return.
also, is there a way to return back to our original payment method rather than store credit?

Maybe I'm missing something. There's no grinder option when I click on the link.

When checking out, choose pick up at store option, but split the items between two stores, pick up what you want and cancel the rest. And no, this is not theft, as you are not acquiring any goods that were not paid for.

Thats because the hack is theft
If you buy something from someone, but only want to pay half the price, then that someone return the money. That is not theft.
You go to a store and take some merchandise and get out without paying. That is theft.

Using a coupon must be theft, also.
