Paid this price at Sam's club this weekend during their door buster weekend promo for a new one. Prices has since gone back up to 299.

This thing sounds great and is perfect for use by the pool! That being said, check out your local Walmart... Mine has had these on yellow tag clearance for $99 for months... I broke down and bought one a few weeks ago and it's an excellent value at that price brand new!

It was the Walmart in North Conway, NH. YMMV on store availability, but I'm in a small town so products don't seem to move too quickly up here at least.

Bought this from ebay & had to return as it was faulty. Bluetooth dropped out a lot of times and when you have the volume high the speaker cracked.

Buy at your own risk.
