It's a hack deal. You have to cancel/return the battery to get just the vacuum at this price.

To get this deal there's thing people called the battery hack. Where you cancel the battery and just keep the tool.

you send them to different stores, pick up the one you want then after that you should be able to cancel other one from the website.

if not you can just call them (number will be in the email sent to you) and tell them to cancel it.

This thing looks brilliant in photos, but don't forget to look at how quickly it eats batteries. If this was dual power I'd buy it in a heartbeat. I just don't have enough batteries nor a rapid or supercharger to make it worth it.

For me, a shopvac with a 50ft extension cord is perfect. Otherwise it's the M12 Fuel vacuum in a pinch...no wheels required.

I was thinking the same thing. If they made a dual power version, I would be really interested. I have the Packout M18 Fuel vacuum and it chews up battery power. I can't imagine trying to use a larger shop vac on batteries alone, unless you go to their larger a Forge platform. Even then...

y'all think even with an 8ah batt it wouldn't last more than 5 mins?

The site says 31 minutes on max power mode with a 12.0 battery. So that would be something around 20 minutes with the free 8.0. Not bad. To get this deal you gotta provide your own batteries and I just have 5.0's so if it's linear that's like 13 minutes. For most of what I would need it for, that would suffice as I really hate dragging a power cord around my garage. The key question from somebody that actually has this is how accurate are these numbers, and is it powerful enough? I might bite if it is really that good.

My only frame of reference is the little M12 vac and I can barely vacuum my entry mat from my garage to my house on a 5.0 m12 before it slows down. It chews up batteries like crazy.

Pulling this thread back up from the depths...

For anyone that has one of these, what are your thoughts on the 1 7/8" hose? I was surprised to see that. I think my current plug-in Rigid has 2.5". I do an occasional house project that involves demo and a lot of wood working in the garage where I have chunks of material to suck up, and I'm not sure the smaller hose would be too good at that (would have to sweep first, then vacuum).
