I'm interested… a roto hammer is a tool that's used pretty roughly… I wonder whats reconditioned on it. It's about 1/3 the cost of a new one though. Might be worth it

I'm the OP and just received my unit from this deal today. On first inspection, I wouldn't know that it's not new apart from a sticker. Look forward to testing it when I get a chance.

not sure what you meant "It's about 1/3 the cost of a new one though", a quick google search [google.com] shows less than 1/2 of $207.97 (you properly don't know how to/lazy search though)

Target has it for about about 9% less than Amazon [target.com] with Red Card, Sold & Shipped by same seller

Why are these so expensive? Couldn't you buy a separate hammer and a drill for much less money?

Got mine in today. The Bosch refurbished box says 1-year warranty on it. Other than the R imprinted on it the hammer drill looks new.
