Not sure why this "new" one is 240, River 2 that I have is 256 and you'll also see 256 still for sale most places. Anyway, it does charge super fast that's for sure. I like it.

It has enough capacity to charge your laptop and phone couple times but that's about it. Cant power anything big as it has small capacity. They mark down the River somewhat often.

Got this bundled with 45w solar panel during Prime Day for $158 but they were OOS/delayed in the solar and refunded $60. For $99ish, it's good but don't expect to run appliances.

You are lucky, I ordered the same bundle on the 17th and I got an August 20th delivery estimate from them. I'd be thrilled with just the unit for a hundred bucks!

Actually just got used it two days after a bad storm took out power in 60% of my county. Lost power for 7 hours, used it to power a lamp among other things. When battery was at 50%/charged it using a gas generator charged back up to 100% in 20 minutes.

this seems to be their MO. Put a unit on sale, send out fake tracking numbers, start production in china, and eventually, maybe you'll get it, or you'll give up and cancel and they get an interest free loan from all the people that ordered.

Just as an FYI about EcoFlow as a company, they are liars. I purchased a Delta 2 from prime day (july 16) About july 20 they sent a FAKE tracking number to amazon so it indicated shipped and that carrier picked it up. But if you tried to go to fedex website, the shipper, their site says tracking number does not exist. The arrival date of aug 1-2 came and went and no delivery. Sent message to EcoFlow, now they say won't be shipped till aug 5 estimated delivery aug 9. Now they sent another message saying "mid aug".

Now, I understand delays, I even get that sometimes **** happens, but to LIE and send a fake tracking number ? Here is the fake tracking number that ecoflow sent to amazon so the amazon system will say "shipped" "picked up by carrier" 277332579035. Don't trust a company that flat out LIES.

Ecoflow isn't well known for their stellar support.

I think batteries this are amazing. It's easy to carry out with me. Beats dragging extension cords out for a 10 minute job. Cutting carbon arrows? My apple arrow saw, bench, clamp and battery. All light enough to carry without dragging out the cart.

Message them through Amazon portal so you have something on record. Tell them you'd want refund for the solar panel because you can't wait til August 20 and confirm what the partial refund amount is.
