I have them both and there's things I like about them both. The one in the link I just posted has much better illustrations and a lot more illustrations. Whereas, the one in this post only has a few.

All the illustrations are done by Tolkien and the overall book quality is great. I'm reading it to my kids and night and it's well worth it.
There's a LOTR version and Silmarillion version also that complements this nicely and looks amazing on a bookshelf. Buy it for life
