Price - buyers should always be wary of products with a high MSRP ($2600) and sell for 75-80% off. It tells you the product was designed with marketing in mind, not performance. A buyer should expect that there will be significant parts sharing among other low end / bargain products from the same manufacturer. Also note that low end speakers have very little to no resale market.
Reviews - sorry but you won't find any professional reviews for products at this price point and for a reason. Manufacturers don't want to submit products at low price points that may get a poor professional review.
Specs - the specs the manufacturer provides for FR have no +/- range so they are meaningless numbers. Again, this is a marketing ploy to make a product look like it performs better than it does. Reputable manufacturers provide +/- 3dB ranges, some less reputable companies may use +/- 6dB as a range, but any company that has no range at all listed means either low performance or poor ability to maintain that specification.
Demo - You won't be able to demo these in store anywhere, so make sure you are familiar with the vendors return policies / restocking charges.
Marketing - a look at their data sheets shows a lot of nonsensical audio jargon that is intended to sound like great features, but are either available on every other product or are just meaningless terms with no data to back them up. Theses include: dedicated sound guidance, high-res tweeter module, Ventilated voice-coil unit, Solid metal basket with generous ventilation openings, Big Bi-Wiring/Bi-Amping connecting terminal, rounded reflex opening for reducing wind noises
Vendor - as noted this vendor constantly gets advertised on SD and the posts are made by SD employees (Just like this post). They are promoted to frontpage status well before any other deal (This one is FP with only 13 votes). This is done so that SD gets their affiliate cash from the vendor.
Bundles - this is a way for manufacturers to get rid of excess stock / inventory and you see these listed all the time on SD. Unless you were looking for this exact setup, then it is likely this combination won't be the ideal setup in your space.

1) The cabinets look very nice and well finished, the feet and spikes are very attractive and definitely increase the cost of the cabinets.
2) The drivers don't appear to be the highest or lowest quality. Prob better than the low end Polk/Klipsch offerings but nothing great.
3) The speakers are pretty sensitive (92db). You will get a LOT of sound out of these on almost any AVR.
At 599 for a complete 5.1 set, it's pretty hard to beat. These should punch above their weight class. I have no personal experience with the speakers, but it seems like a good deal. Trying to DIY something better would be well over 1.5k and lots of time.
Price wise this setup worked better than buying in pieces.
They put out really nice rich sound. A little bit better for music listening than surround, but they do a decent job on movies. I think the center leaves a little bit to be desired for dialogue clarity, but I'm nitpicking for this price.
They are very well made and I would definitely buy again.
