Deal HistoryÂ
Deal History includes data from multiple reputable stores, such as Best Buy, Target, and Walmart. The lowest price among stores for a given day is selected as the "Sale Price".
Sale Price does not include sale prices at Amazon unless a deal was posted by a community member.
Magnat is owned by Voxx which is the company that makes Klipsch and Jamo speakers which are often advertised here on SD from Adorama. Some things to know about these:
Price - buyers should always be wary of products with a high MSRP ($2600) and sell for 75-80% off. It tells you the product was designed with marketing in mind, not performance. A buyer should expect that there will be significant parts sharing among other low end / bargain products from the same manufacturer. Also note that low end speakers have very little to no resale market.
Reviews - sorry but you won't find any professional reviews for products at this price point and for a reason. Manufacturers don't want to submit products at low price points that may get a poor professional review.
Specs - the specs the manufacturer provides for FR have no +/- range so they are meaningless numbers. Again, this is a marketing ploy to make a product look like it performs better than it does. Reputable manufacturers provide +/- 3dB ranges, some less reputable companies may use +/- 6dB as a range, but any company that has no range at all listed means either low performance or poor ability to maintain that specification.
Demo - You won't be able to demo these in store anywhere, so make sure you are familiar with the vendors return policies / restocking charges.
Marketing - a look at their data sheets shows a lot of nonsensical audio jargon that is intended to sound like great features, but are either available on every other product or are just meaningless terms with no data to back them up. Theses include: dedicated sound guidance, high-res tweeter module, Ventilated voice-coil unit, Solid metal basket with generous ventilation openings, Big Bi-Wiring/Bi-Amping connecting terminal, rounded reflex opening for reducing wind noises
Vendor - as noted this vendor constantly gets advertised on SD and the posts are made by SD employees (Just like this post). They are promoted to frontpage status well before any other deal (This one is FP with only 13 votes). This is done so that SD gets their affiliate cash from the vendor.
Bundles - this is a way for manufacturers to get rid of excess stock / inventory and you see these listed all the time on SD. Unless you were looking for this exact setup, then it is likely this combination won't be the ideal setup in your space.
I own this. I have them paired with a pioneer lx-305. They sound great and look great. It's definitely worth the price. I bought it when they were frint page at $800. The mocha color is really dark, more like a dark chocolate. The subwooker is 12", and it is better than my bic venturi v1220 and almost on par with my polk 505 subwoofers.
Magnat was voted the best loudspeaker brand in Germany by Focus Money magazine in 2020. That doesn't mean it's the best of the best or anything personally I would prefer Fyne audio or Focals but they are definitely not junk. People who have never heard of them, needs to read a bit more. There is definitely a world outside the USA. How would these compare to Klipsch ? Klipsch do have an exaggerated high bias. But Klipsch is also not trying to woo the audiophile crowd. If you have a brand preference go with Klipsch if you don't, these are good value for money.
The pictures for the stand alone subwoofer shows the back panel, which says "Assembled in China".

When i click on the link it starts to open adorama then crashes and comes right back to this screen. I have tried several times today
Both links still work fine for me and I run a heavy DNS block list + Ublock so its a very clean link to the item with an email code for the discount in the url. I would try an incognito window (or clear your catch/cookies)
Also I just got this set today super fast shipping via UPS (minus 1 of the fronts is coming from across the country) and they sound amazing defiantly worth it for this price if you want a good sounding 5.1. I dont think other speakers in this price range sound this good (I have tested other VOXX brands)
Magnat Signature 507 Kit

If it's your first home theater you will like either set, $379 or $599.
I bought the $379 set for pc speakers to run off a high end pc Logitech set up.
I have high end HT set ups 11.4.4 running off of flagship components.
But if it's your first HT, you will be pleasantly surprised. Or have pets and if they get trashed not a big loss.
I also submitted these without a picture 2 hours ago., I'm new today
Thanks for the follow up Iconian.
This is more of a comparison,
Save $220 go with the set at $379, without a center, or pick up a center.

Which of these is better for setting up as primary Hometheater? 2002 or the 507?
I am ok with not having the center in 2002, can pick one up locally in marketplace
What receiver would you guys recommend on these Signature 507 kit? Is Denon x1700 or 1800 overkill?
Denons has a warm sound, some ppl like it some does not. If you want something crisp and loud Pioneer or Yamaha is a better option. Onkyo quality is poor in lower end models

That being said if you are on a budget this $399 deal on the slightly smaller set might be a better value

They are rated at 8 ohms.
That easier on your AVR.
