Looks like solid spec for the price, if you swap the hard drive with an ssd excluding the fact that its a 9th gen Intel.

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank

I JUST received mine today and even though it was "Grade A", it had scratches and obvious signs of wear.

The keyboard is dirty and isn't very responsive... The keys act "sticky".

The ports are full of fuzz and debris.

I wish their customer service was open on the weekends... Im gonna have to wait until next week.

Hope you guys get a good one...

Last one I got has roaches inside near the battery connector. This is just a quick wipedown from dell and nothing more to clean the machine.

I just ordered a refurbished 5410 and I'm likely going to return it. Keyboard doesn't type consistently and the trackpad also malfunctions. It said it was refurbished by Fedex Supply Chain. Ordered directly from Dell.

I got this laptop from the last deal. You have to completely teardown the laptop and clean it. In my case the heatsink were crushed on once side but still functional. Lots of debris behind the keys and inside the black wrapper behind the keypad. Keys were very sticky but functional and it needed general cleanup in the internals and the external case.

yes it was a common complaint but mine just had lots of debris with minor cosmetic defects which was on the luckier side for the B grade

Not live roaches of courses. It's full of roaches' eggs and scale from the roaches. You can tell it's where the heat sources are. My guess is the laptop was stored in a cold weather warehouse, and the roaches stays near the battery / hot spot to stay warm.

Got mine today. It is in mint condition with no signs of usage and not a speck of dirt anywhere. Surprising thing is the laptop came with 1 TB SSD although listing said it was HDD and at 100% battery capacity. I updated the description. Considering it was sheer luck, I would still think this is an insane deal and a capable machine for moderate to heavy user from usage perspective unless we are just trying to debate purely on benchmark scores against latest gen processors at $500 price range. Even got upgraded to windows 11. If you factor in the price of 64GB DDR4 which alone costs approx $100, I would like to know where can I get a comparable spec laptop for $400 price with 4K display from all the downvoters?
