Add the fan and the free gift battery to the cart for $59.
After placing the order, within 5 minutes, go back to the order and cancel the free battery. This results in the fan's price is only $26.99+tax. YMMV as I was using an HD Android App, which allowed me to cancel immediately after placing the order, while my friend (used an Iphone app) had to wait for 5-10 minutes for the order to show up.
You can also wait for both items to be delivered and return the battery in-store for the same net price for the fan, or sell the battery. Happy hacking!!!

Edit: thumbdowns all you want. Home Depot has allowed this type of deal/hack for years. If they allow it, I will do it. There is clearly a price attached to each item. A price that HD sets themselves. I did not force them to give me that price.

Placed order a second time logged in and was able to cancel the battery right away.
Bummer this isn't the misting bucket fan but these are IMO way overpriced for what they are to begin with so happy to get one at what feels like a price that it's actually worth.

I got our first one from 2022 Home Depot deal for $99+ tax. It came with two 4A 18v Lithium batteries.
Ordered on iPhone App and cancelled on Chrome OSX if that helps anyone
Cancelled one minute after ordering.
Similar with the other software. The company was loosing profits by not being able to sell a new software. Even tho it had regular weekly packages tons of people bought for years. They released a new software that now you have to pay money monthly an have an internet connect to use. Nerfed the other software first. Pulled the older software an it's 10000s of add-ons people paid for from steam so people who own it can't download it anymore.
Devs put the non nerfed version out hidden unless you knew this "hack" was there

This cord works great with it if you don't want to use it on battery all the time.
If there are any mail carriers here I used to use this fan in my LLV all the time until I switched to a Metris. IIRC I got about 4 hours on high with a 4ah battery.
