Yes. I had my price adjusted twice already. According to their policy, price can be adjusted only within 30 days but you can return the TV within 90 days. Weird I know but that's their policy. You can always ask to speak with the store manager to help you with the price adjustment.
Where can we ask for price adjustment? As it is In-Store price?

I found a store near me which had the price as 999.97, but they refused to price adjust, saying they could only if the TV was purchased on their store.

P.S: The store, which had 999.97, had only a display model with 5000 hours runtime in it.

That is completely false. You assume everyone is dishonest. I always call and have scored some of the best deals without wasting my time driving around all over the place. Employees are always very helpful and tell me the prices and inventory levels at all the stores in my area. Thats how I got 2 of of these TV's 2 weeks ago during the $1200 deal. I called in and only 1 Costco within 100 miles had them. I got there first and they were sold out before I left the store. If I didnt call, I never would have scored these TV's and most of the great deals posted here.

So I encourage EVERYONE to ALWAYS CALL the store to stop wasting gas and time. Its basic common sense and it works every time for me.

Already getting picked clean at $1499.97. If you are lucky as some others you may get it for less if it's on manager markdown

I completely agree, thanks for commenting regarding this. Of course there's never any guarantee what an employee does with the information, but most employees have been super helpful in helping me find what I'm looking for some even offering to put the TV aside for me if they know I'm driving from afar; even for the C3 I almost drove 2 hours but an employee found it for me closer; and over the years I have scored several Costco TV deals (Sony X900H and LG C1 OLED) thanks to slickdeals posts and calling into my store for inventory questions.

One of the unofficial rules of SD or at least it was, is not to call the store to ask if an item is in stock or about a price. When you call the store you raise the risk of an employee buying the item, notifying friends and relatives, putting the item aside to hold for later purchase, etc. It's always best to go check in person.
Yup...never ever call the store for deals like this.
