Sony fanboys may want to try to deny this all they want. The sad fact is, Sony has announced zero first party AAA games for PSVR2 since its release one year ago. And 95% of the "new" games released for PSVR2 since its release are just "HD versions" of Meta Quest games that people on $200 headsets have had access to for years.

And as amazing as GT7, Resident Evil and No Man's Sky are on PSVR2, that's pretty much it for PSVR2 AAA experiences. Sadly, Sony abandoned PSVR2 about as quickly as they abandoned PSVR1. Which is a damn shame since VR has been stagnant for years now.

The final nail in the coffin was easily the fact the new Astro game won't come to PSVR2, despite how well the original Astro Rescue Mission played in PSVR1. It's like Sony doesn't even care anymore.

Sadly, fire sale is definitely a fair way to look at this.

It has some majors flaws or I would have planned on getting this.

It's going to rely on your PC's Bluetooth chipset, which might not be compatible with the controllers. Also a lot of features have been cut like foveated rendering support and the headset feedback.

This is still a better purchase for PS5 owners.

I remembered during launch getting flamed when I commented this will lack games to make it worth purchase. Where those people at?

I bought this at launch and while I don't disagree that Sony really dropped support hard, it still provides a fantastic VR experience. Gran Turismo 7 with a racing wheel is flat out amazing. RE 4 and RE village are top notch conversions. It really needs more support but there's an ok amount of content.
