@c2nah777 said: I only brought up the discrepancy as a warning based on purchasers' having false expectations, due to the original post claiming IPS- based on the picture on the product page claiming IPS. Not OP's fault originally, but people were getting duped. OP knows this and still has not edited it out of their title. No idea why they didn't make the the time to fix their title.

Check classic view> Thread view to verify what I am saying. It does not appear in the Redesign view, since it got promoted to FP and edited by mods out of their revised title. But it is still as it was at this time. See att.
I agree every laptop thread has complainers. No one laptop will satisfy everyone. Big crowd looking, all have their checklists, and they vary greatly. Compromise is the key. So we set must haves, won't haves, price range, and pick one that we think is nailing it or close enough to compromise on something. We all know this and it is not shoppers' faults they have different wants and needs. The pros and cons they point out in the threads help others quite often as well.
Also, you can see the SD Moderator has omitted this false claim even though the OP still has not removed it from their title after having been advised

Credit to guest2011 for $25 off MC coupon, which by the way can be applied to many different items, for those wondering.
One can simply take nearly any cheap desktop from the last 5 years (or even longer) and stick in the RX 6600 for a super cheap, yet reasonably respectable gaming experience!
This would currently cost 3 to 5 times as much for the same experience on a laptop - even a refurb'd laptop. Biggest difference in gaming desktop vs gaming laptop prices I've ever seen, for the same gaming experience.
