You want to get one of the automatics with lumbar support and the headrest that can be adjusted. Manual will never beat those.

The x-stiching seems like a lot of unneeded extra holes that might rip at some point.

I'm willing to pay twice as much if they would have something actually leather... The unnecessary X-stitching tells a lot about the designers and likely mechanical failure down the road.

Most of my furniture is made in China, the quality is good, I have never used made in Vietnam, are their quality unreliable?

This is top grain leather upper per description and vinyl sides
The new Mazda CX-90 dashboard has similar stitches. But it doesn't have to deal with human bodies stressing on it. So, yea probably bad design here.

Top grain leather is real leather, just the sides and back aren't. Now granted I'm sure it's a really corrected/finished leather like the Simon li couch is.

I bought it last week at the store. It's heavy and packed very well. Easy to put together. Reclining seats are comfortable and recline back far enough to actually take a nap or prop up to sit comfortably watching tv. Leather is nice only had it a week but we have a dog that jumps on it and no issues. For the price it's tough to beat.

Thanks for the review. I'm planning to buy it but I'm worried about returns if I don't like it. Do you know if Costco will pick it up in case I decide to return or do I need to haul it to the warehouse?
