Like an extra $100 or more for the pure sine wave models 😔

Most of the replacement batteries I've seen have too low Amps to be useable. I read of another user using Dakota Batteries 12v 50A max, 20A continuous discharge in their 1500VA/900w Cyberpower unit. They were the only batteries I saw so far that had decent enough specs..
I use this as a battery backup on my Ring Home Alarm system, and it's VERY sensitive to power loss. When I tried this on a (maybe defective?) Bluetti EB3A Portable Power Station, I got notifications all the time saying that the device lost power (even though it was plugged into the battery pack). With the EcoFlow, a total power loss to my house doesn't even result in the Ring alarm saying it lost power (until the EcoFlow dies, of course).

I have three CyperPower and 3 APC units that all are pure sinewave. The CyberPower batteries can be replaced with any regular SLA battery. I tried a few LiFePO4 battery manufacturers and none would work. I did have one inverter fail completely.
The APC batteries can be replaced with SLA and LiFePO4. All three of my APCs are still in use. As the CyberPower units fail, they will be replaced with APC units. My APCs are older than my CyberPowers but, have never failed. For extended runtimes, I just plug them in to bigger power stations so I get the advantages of both devices.
