If you select bottled water instead of a fountain drink at the end, the total comes to $7.XX instead of $10 (at least at my location). Great for those that don't care to get a soda. This combo comes out to be cheaper than just a sandwich - effectively getting chips and a dessert for free. Slick enough for me.

The founder sold JJ to a restaurant group in 2019. It's amazing how much nonsense that has nothing to do with whether a deal is good gets spewed on this site lmao.

If you select bottled water instead of a fountain drink at the end, the total comes to $7.XX instead of $10 (at least at my location). Great for those that don't care to get a soda. This combo comes out to be cheaper than just a sandwich - effectively getting chips and a dessert for free. Slick enough for me.

Meals in my area without cookie is $9.39. No go on water trick. So you are buying a cookie for .60. Meh....

This is pretty good deal. People often forget how expensive and time consuming is to make your own good sandwich. Jimmy John's is pretty good, IMO. Driving, buying groceries and then assembling is another thing. But I don't mind doing it when I am off, it's like a therapy.

Unfortunately bottled water discount doesn't work in my area, still $10.

They are limiting this "deal " to the single protein sandwiches not the "favorites " like the Italian Night Club .

These sandwiches if you choose the combo with chips and soda are $10.12.

So I guess the "deal "here is a free cookie lol

Very lucky to have that option. Here the bottles water is $1.99 so it only saves 20 cents. The "base" price is $7.79.
