I run my stuff entirely off-grid using a solar generator. I then run that into a typical generator transfer switch (like you would any generator) but just leave it on "generator" mode all the time. This let's me have several circuits always be solar powered while the big stuff in the house is still grid powered.
I've been watching this guys videos on YouTube recently and he's pretty good at describing what you can do with them. He also seems to respond to every comment, so I'd just ask on one of his videos.

He also has a super cool video on how to use these panels on a larger DIY scale:

I have 2 Ecoflow 220w bifacial.. in parallel I got ~280w but was consistent with clouds and shade; when wired in series I got 360w (higher peak), but super low (120w) in cloud/partial cover.

IANAE.. if you got full sun and your battery supports the higher open voltage, maybe try series?

does anybody know if this works on ecoflow river 2? I ordered an ecoflow river 2 bundled with 45w solar panel but the solar panel is out of stock.

It should work fine with one 100 watt panel the panel is within the specs for the solar input

I ordered two ECO-WORTHY Bifacial 200W Watt panels from them and I could only get about 275W total maximum from them in parallel under a full sun. I may not be positioning them correctly, but that's rather inefficient to me. Just FYI.

I have a River 2 max and got 2 eco worthy 100 watt panels. You can get about 150ish watt if series them together. I would get the bifical if ground mount for close max of PV 220 watt, I think the River 2 top out at 120watt if so I will get the 100 w bifical. You also need a long mc4 to xt60 cables

Thank you. Looking at the ecoflow manual and the photos of ecoworthy, It looks like it will work but I probably need the mc4-xt60 cable. Question though why did you mention long cable?

Did you guys all set up your own solar grid and hook up it up to the electrical system? Or hire someone to do the initial set up and then you're just adding more panels to it?

That is dirt cheap. I wonder why it costs $15k to have a system installed for a new construction home. Solar installation companies are scammers.

IANAE either, but I'm surprised you get 360W in series. I thought series won't increase the output, but only the voltage. But I will give it a try.

There is a lot more that goes into residential solar than panels... Connecting to the grid takes equipment, and a home install usually is 6-13k watt arrays.
