Is it worth it being refurbished? Or does anyone have a better deal for gaming and schoolwork?

We bought 5 refurbished lenovo laptops here at my office for the interns, no discernable way to tell they were refurbished.

Will echo that the refurb I got from Lenovo's official eBay store was packaged and thus far looks and acts exactly like a brand new device. If not for the REFURBISHED sticker on the bottom, one would never know.

IMO it's a great way to save some money, especially if you get a certified refurb through eBay as that includes a 2-year Allstate warranty (buying through Lenovo's site yields a 1-year warranty).

Refurbs don't get any credit card extended warranty protection, right?
