Very solid deal. The router is fantastic and the jigsaw is pretty nice too (I don't like jigsaws much). The sander isn't very good for any serious woodworking but it'll do a great job if you need to take it in the field and do some rough carpentry. I paid much more for each of these tools separately, let alone with 2 batteries. Even if you won't use the sander much I think this is a nice deal for a woodworker.

Have this sander and can concur. One of, if not the best, cordless sanders in the sanding game. Not a single complaint and I can't get it to make swirl marks even if I tried.

Very solid deal. The router is fantastic and the jigsaw is pretty nice too (I don't like jigsaws much). I mostly use a 1/4 sheet sander.

Way more variety of available grits, and it doesn't leave those accidental swirl scratches.

I use a 1/2 sheet air-sander for wet sanding with the final grits.

I just bought this. Military discount doesn't apply.
Amazon had this deal but it expired. I went to Home Depot first, they didn't have it in the store and couldn't even find it online (even though I had looked it up the day before and had it screenshot).

Great deal. I have the sander and it is great. Check any youtube comparison video and you'll find it's considered one of the best cordless random orbitals out there. Under the same conditions, a random orbital should give you less swirl marks then the dewalt 1/4 sheet which is rotary but doesn't orbit. You throw in dust collection and different quality sandpaper and that of course helps a ton as well.

If you are making lots of furniture and sanding for hours I hear festool and mirka sanders are the ones to get. They are super pricey but have lower vibration (better for your joints in the long run) and better dust collection. If you are using it not too often this one is not bad. I used it recently to sand off some outdoor table fairly fast. No complaints. You can get swirl marks if you press the edge too hard or move too fast. It's probably true for most sanders, even the expensive ones.

Excellent package. Several years ago I paid around the same for sander jigsaw and oscillating tool. The included router is a much better deal. I love that router.

No, they are usually just in plastic bags with a safety clip over the contacts.

One of the reasons I have Dewalt tools is the deals - I've gotten so many Dewalt tools on SD, but Milwaukee rarely has good sales, let alone the types of deals I've gotten. Dewalt XR is 85% of Milwaukee (or more depending on the tool) for 50% of the price (on SD Smilie )

Thumbs up for a really good kit. So many kits have useless filler tools like a flashlight, or they have one XR tool and one el-cheapo 20 volt non-brushless drill or whatever. These tools are actually useful and useful together.

I would say that if you were to get these individually on SD with various SD tricks, this kit could be had for $250, with a bunch more work and a bunch of luck. This is worth avoiding the hassle.
