From what I've researched, it seems like if you go solar then they'll stop working after about a year or so. But if you want longevity then you physically wire the power. Being a trade off between convenience vs cost/labour. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
"$50 deal for $15?" "ULTRABRIGHT!" Details say 1 lumen per light? 1? 1 candlepower? I'm HOPING thats a mistake. 1 lumin does NOT equate to "Ultrabright!" But hey, NewEgg is a good company and they have a 30 day return policy…
Looking for something too... haven't found anything that fits the bill

The 2nd last one on the list (4 Packs x Home Zone Security Motion Sensor Solar Light (Dual Lighting Mode & Wall Mounted Accent & Flood Light) seems decent... at least going by the product description...
DUAL LIGHTING: Equipped with warm accent lights at 5 lumen when in standby mode and brightens to 600 lumens of bright white flood light when motion is detected.

I messed around with a few different battery/solar lights. They'll light up, but they don't really throw any significant amount of light.
If you're looking for some accent lighting, go for it.
If you're really trying to throw some light, just run a wire.
I got tired of these solar lights and just trenched a 100ft 12awg extension cable in some PVC pipe out to my fence in the back yard and hooked up some AC powered motion/flood lights.

These shouldn't cause any problem, but be mindful of any lighting ordinances you might run up against if you are running brighter lights. Quite a few places now have laws trying to cut back on nuisance lighting that impacts other properties (always good to be respectful of other people).
I'm going to try the 2-pack to replace an old Harbor Freight solar light that crapped out at my Aunt's house. That thing lasted for YEARS and worked really well, but if I get a year out of one of these I'll replace it with the other one. Thanks, OP!
I got a couple of a different brand from Costco many years ago and they are still working well. I have it come on for 2 minutes or so whenever motion is detected in the driveway after dark.

I purchased a solar light at harbor freight and my dad happened to get me one from HD. We compared them side by side and everything was identical except the brand name on the light and the box. Took back the HD one and ran the Harbor freight solar. Last about 3 years.
