The Midnight Apple 15" MacBook Air now features the Apple M3 chip, which has many improvements over its predecessor, the M2. Now built on 3nm process technology, the M3 8-Core Chip is combined with a 10-Core GPU. The next-gen GPU features Dynamic Caching, hardware-accelerated ray tracing, and mesh shading, all of which significantly increase performance for the most demanding creative apps and games. The M3 Chip also has a 16-Core Neural Engine that can leverage the power of AI for both macOS and a growing number of supported apps. It also has 16GB of unified RAM and a 512GB SSD. Add Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) and support for two external displays, and this MacBook Air delivers performance, power efficiency, and portability.

Holy cow, it was $1499 for same M2 configuration a few months ago. Apple is normally discounting these now, I assume there are revenue pressures moving forward for a few quarters.
I hate to say it but you'd have to be a moron to buy a Mac these days. Its just a way to "lay flat" and let Tim Cook rape you for repairs over and over and over again. Every single component of the Mac is DRM locked to the VLSI circuits in the Mac and only Apple has the tools to make your Mac start working again after a repair is complete. I recently shelled out $90 to Tim Cook for a $20 battery to make an iPhone 13 Pro work again. Let me tell you that getting raped by a greedy 3 billion dollar corporation does not feel good. You will not believe it but the first 20 minutes of the repair the BestBuy (licensed) guy did right in front of me and it consisted of a complete shakedown run of a special Apple tool to determine that nobody but Apple HAD EVER touched the phone. When he explained what he was doing i wanted to puke! If the tool detected that ANYONE had ever touched the phone, Apple/Bestbyy WOULD REFUSE to change the battery. I was watching an economic and immoral crime happening right in front of me and paying for the privilege!
wow wow wow. This escalated so quickly. No one is forcing you to buy a Mac or any Apple products. There are many other choices (android phones, PCs) so you can just ignore this. Okay?
